A wee bit late in coming out: this post but *breaking into cliche* better late than never.
Had another huge order of 100 cuppies for Sunday and several things had to go wrong. A few batches baked did not turn out too well. My fairly new KitchenAid® seemed like it was going to die on me. Also a large amount of buttercream came out not so right.
Because there are certain strange rituals we have to adhere to? Reason being that baking is a superstition-laden craft? Nah! I don't think so. I believe it is all about timing and the temperature of the ingredients that go in. More art and science than old wives' tales.
However, they did eventually turn out awesome and delicious as most of them at the Mandarin Service testified. And it was all on time, I might have to humbly add.
Any celebration, excuse or reason is always good for a cupcake. Thanks to all the Daddies especially the Big Daddy upstairs.
